Beneficial compounds of Gurạdji
Samples of Gurạdji analysed by Southern Cross University using GCMS and LCMS tests in 2014 found an array of compounds and quantities unique to the Gurạdji plant. Many of its compounds have not yet been identified and those that have show promising medicinal benefits in academic research and lab tests.

A study using trimethylsilylated (derivatised) extract in 2011 by the University of New South Wales, found large amounts of

in samples supplied to the Bioanalytical Mass Spectrometry Facility at the Mark Wainwright Analytical Centre.
